The Sumner Project was a whole-home transformation in Salt Lake City — and one that began long before demo day, with months of plan review and approvals alongside the city. The scope reached nearly every corner of the property: a full addition with an extended basement, a dedicated office, a new bathroom and closet, skylights pulling natural light into the heart of the home, a kitchen remodeled down to the studs, and an exterior finished with a new patio, full landscaping, and a front railing that gives the facade a polished, intentional look. This project also marked a milestone for our team — the debut of our in-house millworker, whose craftsmanship is woven throughout the home in a custom range hood, cabinetry, desk, vanity, entryway shoe storage, and a fully custom closet. Every detail, from the plans on paper to the finish work, built by Citizen Builders.
